On October 21 to 23, 2009 the Elementary section of Manado International School held an in-campus camping program. The participants who joined this program were the grade 4, 5 and 6 students. The program was a part of one of the subject they took in the extracurricular class ‘Pathfinder’.

On October 14 to 16, 2009, the middle and high school section held an out-campus camping. This program was a compulsory program for all the middle and high school students. The program was held in the Bukit Doa Suwaan, North Sulawesi.  Pastor Lauda Woy, M.Div. received the token of appreciation and the certificate of recognition for MIS Director, Mir. Billy Kumolontang, MBA. This semester’s week of spiritual emphasis held on the MIS Auditorium during the 5th to 9th of October, 2009. This event held twice a year every semester.
